Rutland Badge

This pin badge is the coat of arms of Rutland and was approved in 1950. The green field represents the county's agriculture and the golden acorns symbolise the extensive forest that once covered much of the county as well as representing smallness, Rutland being England's smallest county.

Our motto Multum in Parvo means "much in little".
